But we’re not stopping there!An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Commercial Banking team within Risk Data Management. The team is part of the Risk Data Excellence & Transformation (RDET) function whose purpose is to build and maintain high quality, trusted data that gives the RiskDivision confidence in making better, faster and more informed decisions.   • Knowledge of managing, developing, interrogating, and maintaining the metadata (data about data) and data lineage (understanding of where data comes from, how it passes through various systems to the end point where its used) of critical data that is usedto support Risk key business processes.
  • Understanding of the metric production processes to determine and objectively assess the strength of data controls.
  • Ability to support the development and implementation of our proactive engagement approach that includes the production of meeting packs, scheduling of meetings and recording, tracking and closure of actions
  • An eye for detail, inquisitive, resilient, organised and enthusiastic with a desire to develop their knowledge in an exciting and important area.
And any experience of these would be really useful:
  • Data management, data analysis and data management tools for assembling metadata and data lineage, such as Collibra, and a general understanding of BCBS239.
  • Maintenance of Metric Owner documentation that describe how the risk appetite metrics that monitor our risk exposure are created.
  • Monitoring and remediation of Data Quality issues in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Carrying out Root cause analysis / business process analysis and identifying potential risks.
  • Assessing data management patterns against internal and external best practice to find ways to improve.
