Job Description

This is a hybrid role with 1 - 2 days a month in the officeClient DetailsMy client is a large Public Sector organisation based in North BristolDescriptionThe Management Accountant plays a key role in the success of this Large Public Sector organisation.The Management Accountant will be joining a team that looks specifically at Projects across the organisation.These projects will vary in budget size and can be capital based projects, grant projects or internal projects.The Management Accountant will provide a range of strategic advice and operational financial support services to different operational departments. You will provide comprehensive financial advice and fulfil the statutory obligations of the organisation ensuringcompliance with accountancy standards and codes of practice.Profile

  • It is essential that you have a recognised CCAB qualification, preferably CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA or will have equivalent relevant professional experience as a QBE.
  • You will have significant operational experience within a large organisation, covering the key financial processes of financial planning, budget preparation, budget monitoring and preparing final accounts.
  • We require you to have experience of supervising a small team to effectively deliver a range of quality and cost effective financial management and financial support services.
  • You will have excellent IT, numeracy and good analytical skills.
  • Ideally you would need Knowledge of CIVICA Financials
