Job Description

Fusion People are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Tradesman to work on behalf of our Bristol based client working through social housing void, refurbishment and general maintenance works.Job descriptionWe are actively recruiting for individuals who hold an electrical/plumbing/carpentry/grounds keeping/general building/carpet laying/tiling qualification or have a minimum of 2 years experience in a property maintenance or general repairs role. Friendlyand approachable, youll have a good understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold-water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, and plumbing. You understand the importance of maintaining standards and have knowledge of relevantstatutory requirements and compliance.About you:

  • Will have previous domestic maintenance an/or void experience. (Social housing experience preferred)
  • City and Guilds or time served in your specific trade along with other trades and skills.
  • A good standard of onsite Health & Safety
  • A team player who will be happy to work as a team.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work to complete work to a high standard
  • Reliability and tidiness is essential
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • A can-do attitude.
  • Able to listen and take instructions.
  • Ability to get to site.
  • Own tools, power and hand.
About the role:
  • Full-time Monday to Friday
  • Salary: competitive & negotiable based on experience, on the books/CIS and company van option
  • A full driving licence is required
  • We are looking for an immediate/near Future start.
  • Ensuring sites are left tidy.
  • Caring about your site/job.
  • Carrying out any other duties as reasonably instructed by the Project Manager or Site Manager.
  • Supervision and training will be provided.
