Job Description

Position: Maintenance EngineerSalary: £35,000 - £38,000Location: BristolExciting Opportunity for a Maintenance EngineerOur clients are currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our dedicated team, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of mechanical machinery, ancillaries, andproduction equipment, including automation systems, robotics, and production fixtures.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all duties in adherence to strict Health and Safety regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the maintenance and setting staff to conduct regular preventative maintenance during the backshift.
  • Ensure the sites security and safety during non-standard working hours by isolating power, water, and air systems.
  • Uphold impeccable housekeeping standards in alignment with the Company’s 5S program.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on machines, ancillary equipment, and robotic systems during the backshift.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for robotics, proficiently handling programming and applying necessary modifications during the backshift.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of essential robotic spares for immediate use during the backshift.
  • Follow established schedules to regularly service ancillary equipment and robotics during the backshift.
  • Collaborate with the toolmaker as needed to assist in tooling maintenance and repairs.
