Job Description

Machine Learning ConsultantTriad are currently seeking an experienced Machine Learning Consultant. The role is flexible on location and you can work from home. It is expected that you will be required for between 3-5 days per week for 3 months initially and extending for a further 3-6 months is likely. The project is scheduled for a July start date.Some travel to client site is required - COVID19 restrictions permitting.The project focuses on an assessment of the potential for automation of certain chart production processes by applying machine learning technologies for cartographic generalisation and assessment/identification of navigationally significant information. This is a leading-edge project where the client has considerable domain knowledge and previous existing projects in the field. If successful there is possible follow-on work.Requirement:A consultant with the following skills, knowledge and experience of machine learning to assist our clients Senior Technical lead with the delivery of the project. Candidates will be expected to work with the technical lead to:

  • Develop and implement models in line with the client requirements.
  • Assist in data preparation and interpretation of results.
    • Person Specification:
  • 3-5 years of broad experience of AI experience, focusing on deep learning, predominantly supervised/classification with some experience of unsupervised and generative models. A wide knowledge of market leaders, emerging technologies and construction/testing of bespoke models is also required.
  • Good working knowledge of designs using mainstream AI platforms and languages e.g.Tensorflow, Python, Keras, RNNs and CNNs.
  • Experience of structuring and approaching research projects is desirable.
  • Qualifications/Experience of ML Architectural design is preferred.
  • Geospatial/Mapping background is desirable but not essential.
