Logistics Officer £300 Umbrella rate. PAYE Rate will be £2377 MonthsRemote WorkingMy client works within the Public sector and are in need a Logistics officer to provide leadership in executing the inbound or outbound logistics plan as outlined by the project and planning teamKey responsibilities for the role* Management of operational teams in a 24/7 environment, including health, wellbeing and safety of your team.* Lead on managing a quality service, growing service.* Responsible for supplier relationship management on a daily basis.* Raising and escalating any incidents around outbound logistics which may prohibit the provision of testing to the relevant channels.Essential Experience required * Advanced user of Microsoft Excel* Experienced in logistics planning* Experienced in Returns LogisticsKnowledge, Skills and Experience* Experience of managing complex transport and logistics operations, preferably including parcel and same day carriers.* Problem solver and solutions orientated* Health and safety awareness.* Proficient in the Microsoft office suite.* Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.* Experience of working with contractors in a logistics environment.* Contribute to development of a continuous improvement culture, using data as a foundation of decision making.* Experience of contributing to design of processes and facilities.* Proven history of delivery of KPIs.* An effective communicator able to establish relationships quickly and effectively.Please apply or for a confidential conversation about the role please call Lindsay Cunliffe on Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
