Job Description

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of a new 3PL provider in Ireland. Managing and implementing SLAs across their Transport and Warehouse function.Client DetailsMy client is in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.   • Supervise the service delivery team with direct responsibility for the management the team
  • Manage the 3PL SLAs on a daily basis
  • Work with Management team for development plans
  • Execute team training to provide a strong multi skilled team
  • Monitor and improve service delivery processes and procedure
  • Review and update service delivery documentation - processes and procedures
  • Support and cover the service delivery team when required
  • Validate carrier invoices against our own reporting and clear within the agreed time line
  • Creation of sales invoices to client within the agree time line
  • Analyse transport costs and sales and highlight any cost saving opportunities
  • Act as the point of escalation for the clients, commercial and operational teams

  • Previous experience managing a 3PL with a Warehouse and Transport Function
  • Experience of using Transwide highly desirable
  • Able to build relationships via teams
  • Able to work from home and remain motivated
  • Experience of SAP, MS Office, CRM and other CS tools
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
