Job Description

Locality OfficerBristol, UKTemporary Full TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locality Officer to join our team in Bristol on a full-time temporary ongoing basis, with an initial contract of 3 months. The Locality Officer will be responsible for delivering a professional and high-quality mixed tenureservice to customers across your locality. The Locality Officer will be an integral part of keeping neighbourhoods safe, resolving housing management issues, contractual breaches, and Anti-Social Behaviour issues within the community. Please note this rolerequires a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar role, delivering tenure blind landlord services with locality teams
  • Previous experience in a customer focused role, and evidence of excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of tenancy, lease and neighbourhood approaches to maintain and improve outcomes for customers
  • Knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with relevant software applications and databases
  • Experience of meeting deadlines and working effectively in a complex and dynamic environment
Role Expectations
  • Deliver operational elements of a tenure blind service across your locality, focusing on tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood management
  • Maintain high data quality in our customer systems. Ensure suitable contract arrangements are in place in regards to all compliance elements
  • Work alongside key partners within the locality to provide a proactive service to customers. Develop strong working relationships with external partners
  • Assess customers suggestions, in order to make social and physical improvements within the neighbourhood
  • Maintain Records: Accurately record all interactions, assessments, and decisions in line with relevant policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and data protection guidelines are strictly followed
  • Attend Meetings: Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and relevant training sessions to stay updated on changes in tenancy legislation, policies, and procedures where necessary
