Our client has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a muscle-wasting condition that causes progressive muscle weakness. As a result, they are a full-time electric wheelchair user. Some of their interests include watching football, rugby, playing videogames and watching films such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Blade Runner.You will provide our client with health and social care, as well as academic support. This is a "flatmate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things youd expect from life, like getting out and about to see friends,going to parties, going on holiday after graduation and much more!Weekly live-in rota: 7 days on and 7 days off or a similar arrangement.Care experience is not required as full training in our clients particular requirements will be provided.Written by our client:"I am easy going and easy to get along.
