Linux Systems Administrator (CentOS/Redhat, Samba, NFS, Windows Server)Salary: £30-40,000 (negotiable dependent on relevant experience)Location: South Bristol includes free car parking post covid.Remote Working: 100% during pandemic. Post pandemic candidates must be prepared to commute into our client’s South Bristol office. Number of days in the office will be confirmed by management.Linux Systems Administrator – Key Skills:- CentOS/Redhat Linux experience.- Strong working knowledge of Linux including command line.- Samba and NFS configuration in multiplatform environment.- Knowledge of Windows 7 Pro including installation and configuration.- Windows Server OS and Active Directory.- Knowledge of Servers, Networking and Storage Systems.- Must have excellent communications skills.- Must be eligible to work in the UK.About the role:The successful Linux Systems Administrator (CentOS/Redhat, Samba, NFS, Windows Server) will be a key member in a role that carries a high level of responsibility.Your responsibilities will include:- Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.- Performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.- Participating in administration of backup operations.- Supporting and troubleshooting software programs such as Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, Nuke and Fusion.About the Company:Our client is an award-winning UK based creative studio.For more details on this Linux Systems Administrator role (CentOS/Redhat, Samba, NFS, Windows Server) please contact us now for an interview.
