Job Description

Life Cycle Carbon Consultant - Home Based Ref: DB1171Competitive Salary Plus Benefits Our client is looking for a Life Cycle Carbon Consultant to join their growing energy and sustainability consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity for flexible working and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projectswithin the residential, commercial, and retail sectors.To be considered for this Life Cycle Carbon Consultant role you will have:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Environmental or similar
  • Two years experience within the construction industry and knowledge of sustainable design
  • Experience of delivering Life Cycle Assessments for BREEAM and WLC assessments for planning
  • Experience with One Click LCA
  • Full UK driving license and be flexible to travel to client meetings and construction sites where necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • BREEAM New Construction Qualification (Desirable)
  • BREEAM AP (Desirable)
  • Experience at managing and delivering large projects
  • Brilliant report writing skills and client relationships
Working as a Life Cycle Carbon Consultant you will:
  • Provide Life Cycle Assessments to achieve BREEAM Mat01 credits
  • Deliver Whole Life Cycle Carbon Assessments for both major London schemes and large schemes outside of London from planning through to completion
  • Build client relationships and ensure all project terms are met
  • Provide extra services such as SAP, SBEM where needed
  • Manage large projects with key clients and provide clients with monthly reports and billing schedule updates
  • Prepare Energy and Sustainability Statements and Strategies
  • Provide embodied carbon advice to clients using Environmental Product Declarations and carbon databases
