Job Description

DevOps Engineer - with Docker - Autonomous Vehicle Tech Start up UKChance to get into brand new technology for Autonomous/ Driverless Vehicles.Senior role in a well funded start up team delivering game changing autonomous / driverlessvehicle tech.You need excellent knowledge and experience as DevOpsEngineer with CI/CD.You will see your groundbreaking new products in the real world within a year.As Lead DevOps Engineer, You will determine the Test & CI/CD strategy and machine learning pipeline to ensure robust, efficient and well tested code for complex software, electronics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and vehicle subsystemsfor autonomous driving platforms.This role offers excellent opportunity to get into CAV, great worklife balance and it also offers flexibility in working remotely or onsite when needed. This is start up Dev Environment - so collaboration & team work is criticalRole:As a DevOps Engineer, you will lead development in new technology for CAV / Autonomous Vehicles as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation.You will have a real passion for the philosophy of DevOps.Your role will involve designing and deploying solutions which will allow: automatic provisioning and management of environments; the capability to continuously integrate; containerisation functionality and the automation of testing

  • Combine Software Development and IT operations from early stage implementation and test, through to production.
  • Set the Test and CI/CD strategy to ensure robust, efficient and well tested code.
  • Determine Machine learning pipeline - making the software work flow as automated as possible
  • Testing & De bugging
  • Using Docker to allow developers to build and run software in a simple manner
  • Collaborative and Cross Functional role working with design engineers, software developers, product developers, sales teams and clients/ end users.
Essential Experience & Skills
  • Software infrastructure experience: Software Integration, Testing & Deployment
  • CI/CD Continuous Integration practises including Machine Learning pipeline
  • Docker
  • Linux
  • C++
Advantage:Degree Software, IT or Engineering - any of: Mechatronics / Electromechanical / Electronic/ Robotics/ Embedded Software/ Industrial Engineering
  • Version & Release control - Git / Gitlab/ Jenkins/ Bamboo
  • Software Development Life cycle - Agile
  • Machine Learning into CI: eg TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, PyTorch
