Job Description

Description:My client, a leading bank, are looking for a Lead Actuarial Modeler to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis.Skills:

  • previous experience in Actuarial, and Bulk Annuities
  • Leading the delivery, design, testing and seeing through E2E of longevity re-insurance for deferred members in a bulk annuity scheme
  • Modelling background including prophet
  • E2E process of working on data build through to modelling & reporting. evidence that they have led modelling deliverables/teams
  • The successful candidate will be able to design how things will work and providing requirements/acceptance criteria rather than doing low level coding in Prophet or SAS
  • Design the data extracts from Mercer and write specifications for SAS build
  • Knowledge of SII, IFRS17, Prophet, SAS, Modelling, etc.
  • Ideally looking at 10+ years experience
