Job Description

Fully Remote roles so you can be UK or Europe based . Our client based in Bristol (UK ) are a busy Global FinTech software provider to the worlds top banks.Ideally based in the UK, but will happily consider applications from candidates across Europe. These positions are fully remote.Our client are looking for Junior UI/UX Researchers to join a growing team that designs market-leading financial software. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain expert knowledge, working in a fast-expanding FinTech industry.Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 + excellent benefitsThey are looking for an individual with an empathetic and curious mind, a problem solver, who is passionate about understanding users & clients goals and needs, has a good understanding of Design Thinking, design patterns, excellent research skills and confidencein conducting multiple research methods. We are looking for a team player whose eyes are set on becoming an expert UX Researcher within Fintech industry.Job Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior UI/UX Designer, you will consistently deliver and present a high standard of work, as well as collaborating with international development teams & stakeholders Helping stakeholders shape requirements through UX and design thinking exercises Conducting UX Research on financial software for a wide range of international clients using multiple research methods Report UX Research findings to Senior UI/UX Designer and other members of UI/UX team, as well as other stakeholders Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales Evangelising users needs and client pain-points within the companyKey Skills

  • Comfortable conducting user research techniques to guide product design decisions.
Experience in carrying out research to gain a better understanding of our users and building personas to better understand their goals, behaviours and roadblocks. Good understanding of UX heuristics Knowledge of when to deploy the correct research quantitative and qualitative methods to gather unbiased data. Confident in leading workshops with users and stakeholders Experience in composing user surveys, conducting user interviews and user testing. Experience in organising and consolidating research data from multiple sources to be presented to other members design team. Understanding of design needs within enterprise-level applications and design at scale Understanding of design thinking methodology Experience working with various stakeholders such as UI designers, UX Designers, Developers, Product Managers and Clients Experience in recruiting users for research Solving complex problems through simple methodsUX Skills Good understanding of Mural or similar, Figma, Sketch Familiarity with HTML/CSS/AngularDesirable Skills Positivity in high-pressure situations Experience in FinTech would be advantageous Understanding of financial services industry Familiarity with survey tools Fluency in other languages is a bonusQualifications BA or equivalent experience in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design or related field is a bonus, but not requiredExperience Portfolio of previous user research projects and findings Experience in Business Studies is a bonus, but not required Relevant experience in an agency or in-house, including apprenticeshipsBenefits Supportive holiday package- Includes 25 days annual leave rising to 28 (with length of service) Plus ability to carry over up to 10 days into the next holiday year Company pension scheme matching up to 5% of salary - Additionally, you can choose to make your contributions via Salary Sacrifice Group Life Assurance - Up to 9 times your annual basic salary Group Income Protection - Up to 75% of salary Private Medical Insurance - Which can include family cover Free onsite parking
