Job Description

  • £21,000 - £25,000
  • Hybrid working - (3 days office based)
We are working with a leading gift and games company who design, and manufacture products sold in leading retailers both in the UK and around the world. This is a successful company with a great culture and team.They are looking for a Junior Digital Designer to join their design team working in the office 3 days per week and from home 2 days per week to support collaboration. You will be responsible for creating weekly trade emails, website designs, landing pagesas well as maintaining brand continuity across all digital projects and platforms.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years graphics and digital design experience within consumer products, skilled using the full Adobe suite, After Effects, Sketch Up, Adobe XD. You will have experience creating static assets, gifs, retouchingartwork with a portfolio that showcases this.You will be deadline driven with an excellent attention to detail, and have a proactive, can-do approach.   • Creating animated how-to / promotional videos using After Effects
  • Weekly trade emails
  • Creating email designs, corresponding homepage banners, social media promo assets.
  • Maintain the trade and hub websites, including banners, landing pages, assets for the websites etc.
  • Create branded web-apps for the games to create a fun and interactive user experience which goes hand in hand with the physical game. Starting from wireframe, to design, to amends, to exporting static and animated assets.
  • Creating various website designs, covering the whole process + amending user journey etc.
  • Liaise with different areas of the business, including product development, design, marketing, and systems.
  • Ad-hoc projects e.g., amazon marketing, social media, digital ads etc.
As Junior Digital Designer you will have / be:
  • 1 years workplace experience
  • Strong graphic/digital designer who has an exceptional creative flair and a practical knowledge of this area of design
  • Responsible for creative elements related to web design, marketing tools, digital product elements, company, social media channels and global screen content
  • Keen interest in photography and video creation and editing
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite After Effects - Particularly motion graphics and video editing
  • Adobe Creative Suite Software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) - Experience creating static assets, gifs, retouching artwork
  • Knowledge of online typography and web limitations
  • Maintain brand continuity across all digital projects, assets, and platforms
  • Ability to react quickly and efficiently to last minute briefs on tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to design detail
