Working in and Agile Scrum environment, your role will require you to qualitatively assess releases of Iken applicationsaccording to business requirements and testing strategy, including building and execution of automated test scripts. Working with colleagues across several teams, you will be involved with the planning, development, testing and delivery of Iken products.Responsible for:

• Working under the guidance of the Team Leader and other members of the Delivery Team in the delivery of high performing automation framework
• Planning, building, and executing the automated testing frameworks, test pipelines and test environment configuration to ensure successful delivery of Ikens knowledge and case management software
• Actively contribute to sprint planning activities & ceremonies such as spring planning and example mapping, including identification of tasks needed to implement automation solutions
• Delivering high quality automation scripts to agreed coding standards and testing strategy
• Helping to troubleshoot bugs, reporting, tracking, and resolving software defects
• Contribute to improvements in processes across the development and Testing Teams and wider Delivery Team
• Effective communication with the Delivery Team regarding test automation outcomes
• Keeping up to date with relevant technologies to ensure productivity is enhanced wherever possible personally and for the team

Primary Objectives:

• Deliver stable and high-quality automated test solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Devise automated test plans based on acceptance criteria and automation strategy
• Involved in planning of automation testing activities for each sprint
• Producing, executing, and reporting on functional and non-functional test cases according to agreed Behaviour Driven Development standards and requirements
• Identifying and triaging bugs including working with Developers in identifying and implementing work arounds as well as long term fixes
• Actively participate in daily scrums and other sprint meetings, including identifying areas for improvement
• Comprehensive handover of automated test solutions to Developers and Testers
• Contribute to an environment which encourages sharing of good practice, technical knowledge, and product knowledge to the wider delivery team, including the Development, Testing, and Product Teams
• Share good practice, technical knowledge, skills, and product knowledge to the wider Delivery Team

Skills and Experience:

• Good understanding of all types of functional and non-functional testing, and test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SQL
• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM framework
• Experience of development tools including Azure DevOps, the Visual Studio suite, GIT
• Familiarity in building and maintaining test automation frameworks including use of Selenium WebDriver, Ranorex, BackstopJS, Postman; and scripting in Gherkin
• Keen interest in innovative technologies and applications to our business area
