Who unleash the necessary analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning or cognitive work to predict equipment failures, streamline production processes and uncover the hidden trends in production processes.Theyre a creative and ambitious bunch of engineers, hackers and entrepreneurs who love building awesome technology that can make a difference. With skills that range from robotics and AI to industrial manufacturing and software engineering with a team who have worked for some of the largest organisations in these fields including Google, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Morgan Stanley and Ansys just to mention a few.Theyve got one clear vision and are using all the tricks in the book to get there. I love the fact that they are highly collaborative, abuse the whiteboards, ask a lot of questions and are continuously trying to simplify and clarify the steps needed to achieve their goals. They like to properly plan before executing, create engineering design documents, architecture models, prototype and only begin implementing once they reach consensus. They are advocates of embrace change, adapt as they walk the path and strive to grow the team by hiring better, smarter people who love good and bad jokes.Where you come in:This is not one to miss as the manager is looking for someone who is looking for a route into Data Science. You will be a valued member of the team and join the Services team, you will be working directly with their clients to understand the business problem and ultimately, deliver data-driven insights using techniques in data science and machine learning. They are big on innovation , ownership and the will to make a difference. Youll be based in Bristol although there will be some travel to client sites for this role.If you are a developer looking to move into data science or someone who just has a real interest in Data Science and ready to get stuck in and get your hands dirty then this is the perfect one for you. You dont have to have followed the typical STEM route, and the hiring manager is keen to invest in someone who wants to work hard and flourish within DS. Some of the skills which would be good to have, but not essential to tick all these boxes.
