If youre a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (leaning either towards front or back-end) and want to see your code go towards something truly worthwhile then this is one for you. With many countries declaring a climate emergency, now is the time to act and you will be a part of a business facilitating life-changing projects across the UK and worldwide.What skills youll be needing

  • Any knowledge of NestJS, Stripe, WordPress or Jest would be highly desirable.
  • What youll be doingThey already have a product doing some incredible work from an ecological and humanitarian perspective but the opportunities for its development are endless. They have at least 7 major projects lined up for the right candidate including new product features, new pages, database migrations, and upgrading back-end modules amongst others. You will be asked to write fast and effective unit tests and take part in code reviews as well as regular discussions about development and infrastructure decisions. With a React based front-end and Node back-end theres opportunity for you to skill up across the full-stack, if you have a preference towards either side they will be able to accommodate you. They need someone who is genuinely interested in fighting climate change to immerse themselves within the team sharing ideas and playing a key role as they grow quickly.What youll get in return for your talentsYou can expect a competitive salary (£40-60K), pension, generous holidays, part-remote after lockdown (3-4 days a week) and more as the company grows.
