Job Description

We are a small, skilled team providing bespoke ecommerce platforms to large businesses. We are now looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our team on a permanent basis.We can offer you

Candidates will be expected to be fluent in Java with a number of years experience, and ideally have knowledge or experience of the following skills;
  • Java
  • Groovy
  • GraphQL
  • Postman
  • Git
  • Gradle
  • JSON
  • XML
  • SQL
  • HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Python
  • Familiarity with Windows, iOS and UNIX/Linux/BSD systems
  • Willingness to work with in-house languages
Your responsibilities would include;
  • Taking a customer request from paper all the way through to production using our in-house technology.
  • Producing code to a high standard that not only functions correctly but can be understood, maintained and extended by other members of the team.
  • Managing code releases to all environments (Dev, UAT and Prod)
  • Sharing of ideas and techniques across the business, contributing to and learning from the team as a whole.
  • Communicating clearly to ensure the best possible solutions are built
  • Showing good attention to detail in the final product, taking care and pride in what is produced.
This is a fully remote role, though there may be some travel to the Bristol area required initially for training and we do like to meet up a few times a year socially.The position is full time, 37.5 hours per week with a salary to be discussed dependent on position and skills/experience.
