Job Description

IT Systems and Infrastructure Engineer Permanent / Fully Remote (Occasional travel to Bristol - Must be a commutable distance)£35,000 - £40,000We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Bristol area as an IT Systems and Infrastructure Engineer. We are looking for a proactive minded person who has extensive Microsoft, Cloud and Migration experience. The role will revolve aroundmix of providing 3rd line support as well as project delivery.Experience:

  • Cloud migration of on-premise Windows Hyper-V infrastructure and Active Directory Domain services, including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Group Policy and more.
  • Hybrid Azure infrastructure environment including Azure Arc, Storage, Virtual networks etc.
  • Experience of cloud-managed network infrastructure.
  • Modern Endpoint Management suites and services
  • Azure Active Directory suite, including ADFS, Azure AD, Conditional Access, Enterprise Applications, Privileged Identity Management.
  • Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams/Teams Calling.
  • Backup and disaster recovery tools
  • IT Monitoring and asset management tools
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with a variety of teams and suppliers to ensure effective purpose-driven IT systems.
  • Providing 3rd line support for escalated work tickets, adhering to established standards and SLAs.
  • Contributing to the identification, assessment, design, and delivery of technical solutions, occasionally partnering with third-party suppliers.
  • Ensuring systems and services align with compliance and best practice standards.
  • Supporting IT Solutions activities to integrate new systems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring, assessing, and optimising systems and services.
  • Maintaining and creating technical documentation as needed.
  • Staying informed about emerging market trends and technologies to optimise the IT service catalogue offering.
  • Upholding company and IT policies and procedures.
