Job Description

Role: IT EngineerLocation: BristolSalary: £25,000Are you a skilled and dedicated IT professional looking to make a positive impact in the educational sector We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our clients team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the technological advancementof our institution while supporting the teaching and learning process.Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and group policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and students at all levels.
  • Proactive attitude towards identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional IT support.
