Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications , IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazarshas the right tools, technology , strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business .Job PurposeAs a Security Analyst, part of the security function, you will be responsible for ensuring theprotection and governance of the Mazars IT footprint, ensuring the Security posture of the firm is maintained with adherence to policies and standards.The Business Technology team within Mazars supports the implementation and support of Information Technology for the firm . Information Security is a key elementof everything we doas afunction and this rolehas the responsibility to deliver the IT Security efforts across the firm by working in collaboration with other key stakeholders in the businesswith over 2500 users across 20 locations.This roleis to develop and grow the right individual into information security technology specialisms. You willideallyhave experience in working with and using security platforms, web gateways, anti-virusplatforms, MDM etc. but this is more about an individual who has the ambitionand foundational knowledge to work with an experienced team tofocus their career towards information security professional .The candidate will have a career plan, training andsupport to develop skills inmarket leading technology . Mazars is on a fast paced programme of transformation to develop as a purposeful firm of the future,this programme involves migration to the cloud, implementation of newstrategic applications suchas document management ,and developing further the security and governance capability of the firm .Role and ResponsibilitiesMonitor security applications and investigate subsequent alerts/alarmsMaintain and support IT Security tools and processes. Work with the other security/IT teams to investigate , contain and remediate cyber security incidentsWork with our managed services provider (MSP)Ensure all security events are investigated and documented to completionStay up-to-date on the changingthreat landscapePerform IT Security Operations functions including Security log monitoring , incident response and management , firewall management , email/web traffic filtering and dealing with service desk tickets and escalations .Skills , Knowledgeand ExperienceIT engineer with broad technical experience .Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber EssentialsExperience as an IT system administrator supporting a variety of platformsWindows. Intune, 365, AzureThreat Protection,Mimecast,ZscalerKnowledge of SIEM systemsKnowledge ofenterprise network and host security controls .Experience providing great customer service.Keen interest in security and initiative to continue security skills development .Ability tostay current with Intrusion detection systems, hacker techniques, phishing schemes, emerging logical security threats and compromised server techniques.Ability to dig into details as well as analyse from a high-level viewCommunicates effectively withusers and team members alike, with a high degree if commitment to customer service.Results orientated ; ability to set high goals for self, focusing on delivery of targets, quality and deadlines.Experience investigating attacks against external and internalservicesExperience reviewing alerts and log data from a wide variety of sourcesExperience evaluating OS logs, directory services , application logs, firewall, IPS, host security , network devices, DLP in investigationAble to quickly pick up new skillsand take on a broad range of responsibilitiesFlexibility ; the applicant must appreciate the occasional need for out of hours work and week
