Job Description

The primary focus of this role is supporting the implementation of a new life critical system referred to as Nurse Call and co-ordinating network upgrades across sites located around Bristol.You would be the technical resource to install & configure the infrastructure which includes but not limited to Meraki switching and Meraki Wireless Access points. You will work within the IT team alongside the St Monica project management office and alsoalongside a third-party vendor who will provide technical resourcing to make sure everything is installed to SMTs high standards.Essential

  • Vocational qualifications or training relevant to the IT industry at NVQ Level 4 or above; 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above
  • Full and valid UK driving licence and own car insured for business use
  • 3 years within a team managing a medium to large enterprise IT Infrastructure, with direct customer contact
  • To have worked in an environment with regular exposure to Microsoft server administration, Windows Admin Centre, Hyper-V Manager and regular exposure to Hyper-V servers and clusters
  • Hands-on building Aruba or Cisco enterprise grade fibre and ethernet networks
  • Hands-on building, installing, and configuring Microsoft platform servers (Server 2016/19/22)
  • To have experience administrating Microsofts cloud platform (Office 365, 365 Admin Center, Azure Active Directory)
  • To have experience with Cisco Meraki networks & MDM
  • To have experience working with Enterprise grade storage solutions (SAS, SAN)
  • To have experience using either a CRM software package or an IT Support call tracking system
Desirable
  • Experience administering Mobile Device Managers such as Intune.
  • To have experience of working on High Availability Life Critical Systems
  • To have strong experience in supporting and deploying enterprise systems within the care sector (or similar)
Hours: 35 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pmSalary: £39,275.60 per annumLocation: working across Cote Lane, Monica Wills House, Sandford Station, The Chocolate Quarter and Westbury Fields sitesRequired skills
