Job Description

Are you passionate about IT and looking to start your career within a 1st line support roleJuice Recruitment is delighted to be in partnership with a well-established charity organisation based in Bristol, with the appointment of a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join their busy team.The successful candidate will be tasked with managing incidents reported to the ICT service desk, whilst working within a team to deliver a service that supports the needs of users, the organisation, and the people they support.This position does not require any previous knowledge within IT or IT systems, making it an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the IT field. You will complete 2-3 weeks of office-based training to acquire the necessary skills andknowledge.You Will Be:

  • Handle all telephone calls and emails to the ICT Helpdesk and log all incidents onto the system
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents
  • Escalate urgent incidents and security incidents to relevant members of the team
  • Keep users up to date with progression and completion
  • Place and track purchase orders for ICT Hardware
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot mobile devices
  • Configure new laptop and desktop computers, and install software packages when requested
  • Configure and deploy network hardware including routers, wireless access points and switches
You Will Need:
  • Previous ICT experience or qualifications will be advantageous
  • A passion for building a career within an ICT support desk role
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • The ability to prioritise and plan work effectively, whilst also delivering an excellent standard of customer-focused work
Following training, this role is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days in the office every 3 weeks (onsite parking available)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmSalary: £23,000 - £24,396 per annumIf this sounds like the next step for you, please apply or contact us today!
