This newly created role of Internal Auditor will be pivotal in ensuring that the company is effective at controlling risk whilst still pursuing our ambitions at full tilt!Internal Auditor - South West with some UK wide travelBasic salary up to £40,000 + annual bonus up to 10% of salaryFantastic benefits including £4800 car allowance, Medicash employee assistance & cash back health plan, private health insurance, perks at work voucher scheme, pension, annual leave rapidly increasing with service, continuing professional developmentThe role…Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, you will take the lead in performing independent reviews of the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management and controls across all areas of the business.You will take responsibility for creating and delivering a cyclical audit plan which is inline with our internal audit methodology, working closely with the board of Directors to understand business priorities and agree the objectives and scope for each audit.You will need to work cooperatively with teams and departments throughout the business, to understand current controls, assess whether they are sufficient and make constructive recommendations on improvements, carrying out follow-up audits after an appropriate amount of time to review whether those recommendations have been implemented.Who are youSelf-motivated and disciplined with strong numeracy and analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels. You will need to have the ability to stay focused and deliver results within in a high-pressure environment.You will also need to be either a qualified internal auditor (PIIA or MIIA) or qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with proven experience of planning and delivering a structured audit plan, ideally within the healthcare or recruitment sector or as an external auditor looking to move in-house.Full driving license is essential.
