Job Description

To provide financial support for a division of a wider, global Group at a time of high change. The Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for all financial reporting activities, month end and budgeting process.Client DetailsThe client is a Divisional entity of a wider, Global manufacturing group.DescriptionAs Interim Financial Controller, you will:

  • Coordinate integration with the group company accounting policies
    • Ensure implementation of US GAAP accounting standards for management reporting
    • Ensure alignment with group company accounting policies and chart of accounts
    • Ensure SOX controls implementation
  • Co-ordination and processing of month end closing and financial reporting
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in compliance with the US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards
    • Perform account reconciliation (Accruals, Interco, Prepayments) as well as subledger reconciliations (Bank, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Payroll etc)
  • Provide statutory year end reports, align with auditors, maintain Chart of Accounts
  • Liaise with USGAAP and local external auditors ensuring effective communication, data provision and issue resolution
  • Preparation of VAT/tax return
  • Treasury management
  • Prepare and monitor annual budget
ProfileThe ideal Interim Financial Controller will be able to split their time across the Bristol site and home (2/3 3/2 split). You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) ideally with some experience of the industrial/ manufacturing sector.Job Offer£300-400 per day (inside of IR35) for this assignment of 6-9 months.
