Job Description

Are you an experienced Interim Financial Accountant looking for your next challenging contractRobert Half are working with a global medical business based in Central Bristol is offering an exciting interim opportunity for a professional contractor to join for a period of 6-9 months and support during a crucial secondment to handle a new acquisition.Role: Interim Financial AccountantRate: £350pd-£450pd (depending on experience)Location: C.Bristol (Hybrid/Remote)Duration: 6-9 monthsResponsibilities:

  • Take on a key role in our clients finance department, overseeing day-to-day financial accounting operations while a team member is on secondment.
  • Play a vital part in our year-end audit process, providing valuable support.
  • Contribute to the production of statutory accounts, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our clients wider finance team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Utilise your expertise to maintain financial records, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and generate accurate financial reports.
  • Support the financial controller with international tax queries.
  • Make a tangible impact by contributing to process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices.
  • Get involved in exciting ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/FCCA Qualified Professional contractor, ready to take on an interim challenge.
  • Proven track record in Financial Accounting or a similar role, demonstrating your expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and regulations (UK GAAP/IFRS)
  • Proficiency in financial reporting systems and software, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Thrive in an independent work environment and meet deadlines with ease.
