Job Description

Location - Bristol / BirminghamReponsibilities -

  • Be accountable for Credit risk data and analytics strategy decisions to support the implementation of responsible lending in line with Financial Conduct Authority regulatory requirements.
  • Build data pipelines, supporting the team to easily consume and examine all new specialised credit risk data blocks being delivered to enable responsible lending.
  • To conduct deep dives into problem areas through data mining to understand underlying drivers of Credit Risk & Fraud trends
  • Build new credit risk analytical datamarts using new and existing data to provide a consolidated customer view across all products and order journeys to drive cutting edge analytics and insights into Credit Risk strategies, policies and processes to supportresponsible lending, data governance and Financial Conduct Authority regulations for Consumer credit
  • Responsible for the development of new risk monitoring, to ensure we are able to demonstrate adherence of policies and processes in line with Financial Conduct Authority requirements for KYC and AML checks and exposure for all loan agreements.
  • Manages multiple large data sources to ensure availability, completeness and quality of analytics.
  • Be centralised POC for management and explanation of team KPIs, performance, demographic analysis and trends.
  • Work closely with CFU stakeholders and third party suppliers to maximise data sources and full scope of Credit Risk data to support BT trading targets.
  • Supports specific projects to deliver improvements to Credit Risk processes across the credit risk lifecycle.
