Job Description

  • As an Income Officer you will proactively manage residents rent and sundry accounts, ensuring that residents know what to pay, when to pay and how to pay
  • Keep abreast of welfare benefit and Housing legislation to ensure residents are given good up-to-date advice
  • Support tenants to access money advice services as and when required
  • Minimise rent arrears cases escalating to court or eviction stage through proactive and early interventions.
About you
  • The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Housing or relevant experience within the social housing sector or similar
  • Knowledge of Housing Law, Housing and Neighbourhood Management issues and good practice
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-managing and target driven with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK Driving License and access to own transport/vehicle.
