Job Description

Position: Hybrid Infrastructure ConsultantSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic + OTE: £55,000 - £65,000+ (Uncapped)Location: Bristol Job Type: PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven person to join and assist the further strategic development and growth of our clients Hybrid Infrastructure business. You will work within the Pre-Sales team to uncover and solve customer business and technical problems. You will understand customer challenges, at a strategic level and work with vendors/service partners to build end-to-end solutions that could encompass both on- premise infrastructure and cloud platforms.Hybrid Infrastructure Consultant Role Description:As a trusted advisor to our clients new and existing customers, you will support customers to meet the challenges of modernising and scaling their infrastructure and cloud consumption to ensure optimal efficiency and performance in a secure manner. You will have a detailed understanding of key vendor solutions and articulate the value at both a business and technical level to customers. The following key aims are expected:

  • Build upon your consultative skills to uncover customer challenges
  • Architecting, sizing and configuring solutions using a variety of tools available
  • Assess, design and present end-to-end hybrid infrastructure solutions, centred on moving traditional infrastructure to the cloud and/or hybrid environments, to meet our clients customers’ business challenges
  • Continue to develop your expertise of key vendors such as HPE, DELL, Microsoft Azure and Nutanix etc. - with a natural deeper level of knowledge in a specific solution area
  • Support Account Managers to deliver and hold strategic whiteboarding sessions with key customer stakeholders (virtual and F2F)
  • Maintain good understanding of the competitive landscape and complimenting solutions
  • Continuously learn and certify against key vendors within Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and surrounding service partners
    • About you:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (i.e. PreSales/consultant/engineer)
  • Exposure to infrastructure services and legacy transitions
  • Ambitious self-starter with a thirst for learning and knowledge
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Achievement orientated - enjoy a challenge and success
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to successfully build relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Certifications in Azure, core infrastructure and virtualisation would be advantageous
