Job Description

Pertemps Bristol is seeking a permanent, full time HGV/LCV Technician for a transport client in BS11 - if you have a background in either HGV or LCV mechanics and are looking for a new career, this could be a great role for you

  • £37,000 - £40,000 DOE (Inc breakdown cover, potential earnings of £70,000)
  • 40hr week
  • Early shift: Mon to Fri 7am to 3:30pm plus one Saturday (8am-1pm) in every three weeksLate shift: 3pm – 11:30pm

About the role
  • To diagnose faults and repair the product from truck and van range
  • To service vehicles according to the manufacturers schedule
  • To diagnose and repair faults using the technology (Xentry) and all available workshop information systems
  • Ensure that the workshop facilities, equipment and tools are kept clean, tidy and maintained, reflecting City West Commercials image of an efficient dealership
The right candidate will have
  • NVQ: Level 3 minimum qualification
  • HGV License would be an advantage but not essential
