We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for our reputable client based in the Warmley, Bristol area to take on a role within their transport department. This is a specialist, exciting role, perfect for any driver looking to develop their skills and not to be stuck in a standard trunking’ job.Main DutiesThis is a day role with a set start time each morning. You will be responsible for delivering generators from their extensive fleet. You will be expected to drive a number of different vehicles ranging from 6 to 8 wheel rigid lorry-loaders equipped with and without drawbar trailers. For parts of this role, you will be responsible for pulling various trailers such as Fuel Tankers and 4x4’s so adaptability will be necessary for this position.Other parts of the job will require delivering, collecting, loading, and offloading generators to and from the customer sites. You will also be delivering fuel using a fuel tanker or 4x4 to customer sites, as a result, you will be responsible for securing the load.Bonus
