Job Description

The Company:Our client is one of the most dynamic refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning service providers in Europe. They offer innovative products and services, and market-leading refrigeration technology, for which we have received awards and industryaccreditations.The Job:On behalf of our client we are seeking a Health, Safety, Environment + Quality Advisor. This is to work as part of their HSEQ Team, assisting with implementing the strategic HSEQ plan and lead Quality Management within the businessYou will be providing advice and guidance to managers and supervisors across the business on Health Safety Environment and Quality issues, ensuring the business is legally compliant with all HSEQ legislationand approved practices.Also assisting with theimplementation of HSEQ improvements to drive continual improvement and increase behavioural safety standardsResponsibilities will include:

  • Deliver monthly reports to the HSEQ Manager on progress of agreed targets and objectives
  • Provide practical competent advice to the workforce,supervisorsand managers on HSEQ matters
  • Carry out high quality Accident Investigation reports and support Line Mangers with any accident/Incident Investigations
  • Support the HSEQ Team in respect to external accreditations including 9001, 14001 and 45001
  • Complete internal and subcontractor audits, and set actions to address the root cause of any findings in relation to audits and investigations
  • Complete site inspections and site visits as appropriate
  • Deliverbothinternal and external training courses including IOSH Managing Safelyand Safety Passport Alliance
  • Participate and facilitate in communication and consultation activities
  • Hold regular meeting with managers and supervisors to drive HSEQ improvement
The Person:Our client is looking for someone who has minimum of Grad IOSHor comparable demonstrable experience as well as:
  • An IEMA Foundation Certificateor comparable demonstrable experience
  • Internal Auditor Training or comparable demonstrable experience
  • Experience with MS Office and similar systemsi.e.SharePoint
  • A full drivinglicence
The Benefits:22 days holiday, rising incrementally to 25, plus bank holidays.
