Job Description

Our client is leading the way in the Pay on Foot market. As market leaders of ticketless Pay on Foot systems, and the only UK based manufacturer, their ticketless system is the latest significant innovation within the parking industry.This business has been leading the way for over a decade and to support them in their journey forward, theyre looking for a new Head of Sales to join the team.As Head of Sales, you’ll be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and have ownership over the sales strategy for the business which will help enable them to keep on thriving and growing into new areas. Your industry background in the parking arena will mean you’ll come packed with new ideas, a fresh perspective and a strong network of contacts.Responsibilities:Whilst we understand lists of tasks aren’t all that exciting there are some key things the role requires from you

  • Effective management of your sales strategy and forecasting, ensuring strong revenue growth for the business
  • Looking after existing client accounts to ensure business opportunities are maximised and not missed
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity for customer acquisition across the UK
  • Present sales pitches to potential clients
  • Manage tenders end to end and ensure you’re aware of tenders opening up for application and pitching
  • Visit clients (when permitted) across the country
  • Provide accurate and regular revenue forecasts to the senior team.
  • Line managing the sales administration team and engaging with them to ensure best practice approach is maintained, systems and processes are adhered to, and clients’ needs are looked after in a professional and timely manner. Ensuring your team have the skills and tools they need to fulfill their role
  • Communicating with internal departments once a project has been passed on, to ensure timely delivery and client needs are met
  • You:
  • You’ll be highly driven to achieve results with a strong mindset and tenacious sales attitude
  • Autonomous working will be something that you enjoy. A lot of time in this role is spent alone and you’ll need to be able to stay focus and motivated
  • You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, prioritising your workload and always looking for opportunities to maximise growth. Naturally, you’ll be hungry to achieve results, able to communicate well with a range of people, highly knowledgeable of the parking industry and feel comfortable working autonomously.This is a pivotal role and in return, you’ll receive OTE of £110k with a basic salary of £60 - £70k DOE, a company car, company laptop and phone, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.You’ll also be able to work safely from your own home during these difficult times. Whilst the business is located in Bristol, you don’t need to be although you will need to be able to travel to Bristol once a week.
