This newly created role of Head of Process Engineering will be key in helping us drive forward with our growth plans by ensuring that our processes provide a stable platform for us to innovate, automate and achieve exponential growth!Head of Process Engineering - South West with some UK wide travelBasic salary up to £65,000 + annual bonus up to 10% of salaryFantastic benefits including car allowance of £4800 PA, Medicash employee assistance & cash back health plan, private health insurance, perks at work voucher scheme, pension, 28 days annual leave rapidly increasing with service, continuing professional developmentThe role…Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, you will work independently to define, develop and optimize processes throughout the whole business, enabling us to achieve exponential growth.This is a rare opportunity to have full exposure to all verticals and departments throughout the business, carrying out a deep dive into each business area, looking at controls and processes with an independent mindset, identifying processes which add little value that can be eliminated, simplified and/or automated. You will also identify areas where controls can be improved.You will work in collaboration with the board and with stakeholders throughout the business to create and implement action plans to ensure business processes and controls are both fit for purpose and allow us to maintain our agility.You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the groups Delegation of Authority and Risk Register.Who are youSelf-motivated and results focused with strong numeracy and data analysis skills, you will also need a good eye for detail and a talent for simplifying complex processes.Highly credible with 1st class communication skills enabling you to command the respect and full cooperation of staff within the operational units youre working with. Able to work in a collaborative manner, soliciting the input and advice of those around you whilst still forming your own decisions as to what is optimal for each process.You will also need to be either a qualified internal auditor (PIIA or MIIA), qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with audit experience or Project Manager (PMI or APM), ideally Lean Sigma Six or similar with proven experience of engineering processes within a medium to large size business.Full driving license is essential.
