The Operations Manager will support the Directors in driving through business strategy and growth plans to ensure customer demands are met on time and in full.Client DetailsMy client is in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.   • Supporting the Directors in the day to day management of the business
  • Project managing new site openings across the UK
  • Setting and managing budgets for new site openings
  • Responsibility to audit and maintain legal compliance and Health & Safety standards to company policy and procedures
  • Review and act on KPI data to include: Training, Legal Compliance and Driver Scores
  • Oversee inventory and stock levels as required
  • Administer any other Logistics tasks and projects from the Managing Director
  • Oversee the provision of data relating to Personnel and Vehicle Compliance
  • Overseeing business insurance documents and external stakeholders
  • Oversee Facilities management for the UK function of the business

  • Previous experience within a Transport/Warehousing environment
  • Previous experience carrying out Logistics projects
  • Strong knowledge on HR procedures
  • Strong knowledge on Logistics insurance contracts
  • Good Knowledge on transport laws and regulations
  • Facilities Management experience required
  • Strong Planning skills
  • Experience recruiting and developing a team
