Job Description

Quinton Davies have been engaged to secure a Group Financial Controller for a growing and innovative professional services firm based in Bristol.This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspirational Financial Controller to join a growing and diversifying business in a key role with the scope to develop into a Finance Director with a wider remit. You will establish key relationships internally and withthird parties coupling technical capability and commercial nous to help drive the business forwards. You will be responsible for:

  • Production of management and financial accounts for several group entities.
  • Developing and improving finance systems.
  • Leading the setup of accounting systems for a new business.
  • FP&A for all group entities.
  • Tax and statutory compliance across group entities.
  • Complex payroll and payments.
  • Business partnering with the board and business leaders acting as an advisor and sounding board.
To apply for the position of Group Financial Controller you will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven track record of financial reporting and planning.
  • Proven experience of Tax and statutory requirements.
  • Demonstrable ability to business partner and explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial spirit coupled with experience of working within varied commercial environments.
  • Proven experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
