This client focused environmental legislation consultancy works with clients across a range of sectors, and tries to make real change environmentally on a daily basis.Due to a growth in workload they are looking to take on a graduate. It’s a friendly team with a mix of ages and backgrounds, and laid-back. However at the same time, they are also highly professional and technically focused.This role would suit someone who is very ambitious looking for relatively fast progression in the modelling areas of sustainability in a friendly and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work towards managing your own projects.The role will involve:Lifecycle assessmentsThermal performance - U ValuesAssisting` with project compliance throughout design stagesPreparation of reports/report writingOnsite energy surveys - various building typesIES modellingEnergy and Carbon CalculationsSBEM and SAP energy modellingAssisting with Project ManagementDeveloping knowledge/understanding of UK RegsYou should be a recent graduate with a degree in Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or industry related.You must be a great communicator and highly literate, written and verbal, with excellent organisational skills.In terms of salary, if you have had a placement year and done SAP or IES modelling you will be looking towards the top end of the scale.Due to Covid they are currently running a skeleton crew in office as most people are working from home. Post Covid is likely to be a mix of home and office working.Initial employment will be office based for training purposes. The office is just outside Bristol. There is great access to local amenities. Space for internal bike storage and close to car parking and a bus stop.
