Graduate/Junior Software Engineers (0-1 years experience)

  • £30k - £40k (depending on experience)

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain expertise across various systems, taking ownership and making a significant impact in the long term.   • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field and/or qualification in a software coding course
  • Experience with Python (preferred) or a similar OOP
  • Less than 1 year of development experience (or none!) - we are looking for graduates or juniors for this role
  • Database design and implementation
  • API development using Python or backend technologies
  • Some familiarity with Fast API, Django, Spring Boot, Node.js or a similar framework
  • Version control - using GitHub or similar
  • Excellent communication
Beneficial Experience
  • Placement year or industry experience
  • Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular etc
  • Cloud-native technologies (Azure, AWS)
  • Automating, CI/CD, DevOps
  • Interest in learning other programming languages
