Job Description

Graduate Build TechnicianCompetitive SalaryBristolPermanentGraduate Build Technician required by an industry leading bespoke, automated machine build company based in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembling of entire machines, working with automation and robotics and beinginvolved in new development projects.Responsibilities – Graduate Build Technician:

  • Assemble machines with tight tolerances to a high standard of quality
  • Integrate control components with mechanical assemblies
  • Test, debug, fault find and solve problems
  • Be involved with customer visits for machine acceptance
  • Installation, commission and support the equipment at the customer site
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and fellow colleagues
  • Working to project budgets and timings
Requirements – Graduate Build Technician:
  • A degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is desirable).
  • The desire to learn and develop into a highly skilled engineer
  • Listen and communicate effectively with other functions in the business and external suppliers
  • Strong experience in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Able to work abroad 4-5 times a year for a couple of weeks at a time. This will predominantly be in USA, Mexico and mainland Europe.
