Job Description

German Speaking Customer Service RepresentativeBristol City Centre - Hybrid working, 3 days a week required in the office£25,000Permanent, Full timeAboutOur clients are an International Insurance Firm that aims to provide quality products and claims services to their customers and offer a rewarding work environment for all their employees.The roleYou will be engaging with customers in both German and English, investigating claims, handling a range of Customer Service queries, and assisting with their insurance claims.Responsibilities:

  • Inbound and Outbound calls, respond to inquiries within target timescales.
  • Fluent translation from German to English and English to German.
  • Proactively manage a caseload of claims.
  • Investigate claims thoroughly and obtain facts about losses.
  • Ensure all data is recorded accurately in the database.
  • Arrange for timely repair or equipment replacement with an approved supplier or claims payment.
  • Comply with recommendations made by an insurer and internal auditors.
  • Resolve customer complaints within target and FCA guidelines.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly productivity and work completed reports.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and German (Essential) - Language test during the interview process
  • Able to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days a week
  • Experience in Customer Service (Essential)
  • Experience in Administration (Essential)
  • Experience in an Insurance claims environment (Desirable)
  • PC literate and able to use MS Office Applications
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
