By leveraging Google Cloud native products,the role aims to enable efficient data integration, transformation, and analysis, empowering evidence-based HR decision-making and enhancing workforce management strategies.About usIf you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong.   • Data Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines that facilitate the seamless flow of HR data from various sources to data warehouses and analytical platforms.
  • Data Transformation: Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich raw HR data, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
  • Database Management: Administer and optimise data storage and database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security of HR data.
  • Data Modelling: Create and manage data models that support HR analytics and reporting requirements, ensuring data consistency and usability.
  • Google Cloud Solutions: Utilise Google Cloud native products (e.g., BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow) to build data engineering solutions that align with the banks technology strategy.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data lineage to ensure accuracy and reliability of HR data.
  • Automation: Implement automation techniques for data pipeline orchestration, data loading, and monitoring.
More about the role
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and other members of the P&P data hub to understand data requirements and translate them into technical data engineering solutions.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow or similar tools to extract and transform HR data.
  • Develop and optimise SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and aggregation within Google BigQuery.
  • Create and maintain data integration workflows using Google Cloud native technologies for real-time data updates.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Design and implement data governance practices, including data cataloguing and lineage documentation.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and data vis teams provide them with clean, reliable, and accessible data for analysis.
