I am recruiting for an large housing association, for a Gas Engineer based in Bristol,Salary£37,000 - £40,700LocationBristol Vacancy type Permanent Closing Date31 March 2023This role will involve carrying out Gas Servicing and Heating Breakdowns within homes in accordance with prescribed work schedules, the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) regulations and to established standard procedures set for delivery of exceptional customerservice.As youll spend a fair amount of time on the road, we will provide you with a van and fuel card so youll not be out of pocket.Youll also benefit from:£335 yearly Tool Allowance£450 yearly flexible benefit pot to use against benefits of your choiceCompetitive on call and overtime allowanceUniform & PPE25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days)Chance to buy or sell holiday as part of our flexible benefits packageA van and fuel card for business traveliPhone and iPadWell Being discounts including discounted shopping & cycling schemeGenerous pension scheme matched up to 12%, life cover at 4x your salaryOpportunity to increase your salary with overtime and call outTasks to include:Competently undertake servicing and repair works to the required legal standard as directed.Install appliances and systems.Carry out planned maintenance checks on systems and equipment.Conversant with wiring central heating systemsTest controls and safety devices to make sure that they are working properly.Find and repair gas leaks using computerised fault-finding equipment.Replace or repair faulty or old gas system parts.Install or repair heating system pipe work.Give customers advice about gas safety and energy efficiency.Acting as an onsite team leader, leading junior staff.You will undertake works in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations, H&S regulations and Sovereigns policies and procedures.Liaising with both internal and external customers appropriately and promptly is key to the role to ensure those involved in your work are aware of progress.Candidates must have relevant and up to date Gas Qualifications including:NVQ Level 3 in Domestic Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)CCN1 - Core Gas SafetyCENWAT1 - Central Heating Boilers & Water HeatersMET1 - MetersCKR1 - Domestic CookersHTR1 - Gas Fires & Wall Heatersif interested please contact, or send an up to date CV to
