We`re here to make a difference across the board.What you`ll be doingThe Enterprise Systems Functional Analyst is responsible for providing functional expertise in our Enterprise Systems including in support of end-user queries, system changes and enhancements, project initiatives to support system process enhancements andsystems training. They will also be involved in a large scale project to upgrade our current enterprise systems.The role enables the business to fix issues in house and develop our Financial system to enable business processes and support our internal users. The role will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business and provide systemsupport and advice including continuous improvement initiatives.Working in an agile environment, the role holder will be able to gather requirements, manage and prioritise and estimate work within a sprint timetable.The Enterprise Systems Functional Analyst reports to the ERP Lead. This role sits within the Enterprise Systems Team within IT.

• Provide expertise in the below areas, sharing knowledge with the users to create robust business processes, and diagnosing and fixing system issues:Oracle - Financials, Projects, Fixed Assets, Treasury, P2P, Web ADI, Report Manager, Business Intelligence (BI), Hyperion - HFM and Planning.
• Work on issue themes, identifying root causes and finding solutions to fix the problem working based on an ITIL theory.
• Follow Agile ways of working using DevOps as a tool to support this.
• Balance and prioritise tasks between project support and business as usual.
• Working in small project teams with employees across the business to deliver new functionality and new systems.
• Work with the functional, technical and business analysts both internally and with our third party suppliers to support and develop our Enterprise Systems for Unite Students.

What we`re looking for in you

• Experience of a wide breadth of Oracle Modules. (Refer to Module list in the Key Responsibilities above)
• Significant experience of Oracle financials
• Knowledge and experience of providing support and analysis for Enterprise systems
• Experience of User Acceptance Testing processes
• Experience of supporting and delivering IT change and IT projects
• Ability to liaise expertly with key stakeholders
• Experience of using a call logging system

Desirable but not essential experience using the following software:

• Bottomline
• Blackline
• Hyperion
• BI reporting technologies
• SQL
