Job Description

    • Bristol’s most innovative digital tech business is looking to add to its multi-talented team to build a wide range of sites, apps and products for some of the hottest start-ups around. This agile solutions provider are constantly challenging themselves to be at the cutting edge and are true proponents of R&D in practice.The team are fully UK remote with a co-working space in Bristol to work from as and when you like.What skills youll need
  • Typescript code standards and practices.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies (React, HTML5, CSS, JS, Webpack, Babel, ES6, etc).
  • RESTful API services.
  • Micro-service API architecture.
  • SQL databases and NO-SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiar with frontend and backend test suites such as Jest, Cypress, etc.
    • Any knowledge or willingness to learn the following would be great:
  • CI/CD principles.
  • Containerized run-times (Docker).
  • Infrastructure as code (AWS CDK / Terraform).
  • Serverless architecture and deployment.
  • AWS and associated components such as EC2, IAM, Lamda, etc.
  • GitHub/Bitbucket.
    • What youll be doingYou’ll be working as part of a small supportive team alongside designers to build awesome web and apps. You’ll deploy live sites and apps and develop your own skills doing it; they have no problem with learning on the job here. They only take on work which interests their developers so you’ll be able to get excited about each project and select from a wide tech stack to work with. They’ll expect you to get involved with cross-browser/device testing, explore new technology (they’ve done recent AI and Machine Learning builds), produce specs and documentation and support clients and colleagues with critical work.
