Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack EngineerSalary: 55kLocation: BristolWFH: Fully remote role (Once a quarter meet ups)Tech: Python, Node, Typescript, React, Django, Vue.js, GraphQLAbout the Role:Were working with a client that is a prominent provider of support for schools and academy trusts in their search for an experienced software engineer. This role aims to contribute to their roadmap, enhancing value for their members within the educationsector.Company Overview:Our client is relied upon by over half of all schools in England, offering resources, guidance, and CPD for educational leaders. Theyre dedicated to leveraging software to transform education.Role Summary:As a Full Stack Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in refining their SaaS platform. This involves managing web-based content sites, marketing, non-member experiences, a Native app, and backend system integrations. Youll collaborate across teams, managetasks, and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout projects.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver solutions across the stack (frontend, backend, infra).
  • Establish feedback loops with internal stakeholders.
  • Use Python and TypeScript for solution delivery.
  • Ensure the quality of your work till production, handling communication and testing.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 4+ years of commercial development experience, preferably in Python or TypeScript (JavaScript experience accepted).
  • Proficient in frontend coding (JavaScript).
  • Strong communication skills, project management, and coding proficiency.
  • Emphasis on critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
Work Environment:
  • Genuine flexi-time policy allowing productive work within contracted hours.
  • Fully remote Engineering Team with occasional in-person meetups in the South of England.
  • Multiple offices across the country for in-person collaboration.
