A Bristol-based tech start-up with an exciting SaaS product is looking for a Front-End Engineer to play a key role in shaping the direction of their offering moving forward. The business provides shipping software solutions, having shipped over 2 million ordersin the last month alone through their platform (40 million to date!). With recent investment and over 5000 happy clients with no sign of slowing down, its an awesome time to join the team.What experience youll need
  • Commercial experience in a front-end role, either junior or mid-level.
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6.
  • Knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript library (React, Vue, Ember, Angular etc.).
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles for web apps.
  • Awareness of front-end build tools like Webpack, Grunt, Gulp etc.
  • Any experience with REST APIs would be beneficial (bonus points for Python/Django exposure).
  • Solution-oriented approach with ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
What youll be doingJoining a small but very capable development team, youll play an integral part in the future shape and direction of their product. Your day-to-day focuses on adding new features to their core product offering, involving yourself in product planningsessions and solving unique challenges surrounding UI/UX. Youll produce clean, robust and reusable code to support future Engineers joining the team, involve yourself in code reviews and user sessions with the customer success team, as well as contributingto the ongoing development and improvement of their product development workflow.
