A fast-growing SAAS scale-up with over 400 clients are looking to bolster their talented tech team with the arrival of an experienced Front-End Developer. Having built an impressive market-leading platform and applications theyve grown their client base significantlyin a short space of time. Theyre looking for someone to be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly, responsive web and web-based mobile applications that meet the high standards expected from customers.*This role is 2-3 days onsite at their central Bristol officeWhat skills youll be needing
  • Highly competent with JavaScript (ideally Vue.js but happy for someone with React.js to cross-train).
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, PHP.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Ability to take ownership of architecting solutions for larger components or features.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices.
What youll be doingWe are looking for a Developer with Vue experience (or happy to cross-train from React/Angular) who is motivated to develop and maintain web based mobile applications writing top quality, clean and reusable code. Core duties will include developing new userfeatures, optimise applications for speed and scalability and work closely with web designers ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX. They would love to find someone who can mentor and coach junior developers providing technical guidance and support whilstensuring high quality coding standards. You will assist with the deployment to production and test as well as implementing improvements to application performances and user experience.
