Job Description

Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping EngineerBristol £32,000 - £36,000 + Company Van + Benefits(This role will include travel and some Out Of Hours work)Established in 1989, Our client is the UKs leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.With offices nationwide, this is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking, modern construction business, that genuinely cares about its people.Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Duties:We are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire stopping/Fire Door projects:

  • Install fire stopping to fire doors
  • Small to large penetrations
  • Use of ablative batts
  • Reading site plans
  • Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS)
  • Consistently achieve agreed performance targets
  • Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays
  • Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle
  • Adhere to the companys quality procedures in all aspects of the job
  • Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Experience:
  • NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred but not required
  • FIRAS card preferred but not required
  • Full driving license
  • Good communication skills
