Job Description

Title: Fire and Security EngineerLocation: BristolThe Company: My client are currently on a recruitment drive and looking for a number of engineers across the country to join their team.They look after commercial organisations and businesses offering the install, maintenance and commissioning of Fire and Security Systems. You will be working for a friendly, fun organisation.Welcoming CV’s from Install Engineers and Maintenance Engineers, and Engineers who want to do both!Package:

  • Salary DOE up to £40,000 basic
  • Van, potentially a Car post probation, Fuel card
  • 21 days holiday – increasing by 1 day each year, capped at 5 additional days
  • Company pension
  • Travel paid after half hour each way
Main Responsibilities:
  • Install and/or maintenance of Fire alarm Systems
  • Install and/or maintenance of Intruder alarm Engineers, Access Control and CCTV
  • Install and maintenance of Emergency lighting
  • Commissioning of the systems upon completion
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours and working away from home time to time.
  • Be part of the on call rota – currently 1 in 7 – subject to change
Knowledge and experience:
  • 2+ years’ experience working on Fire and Security systems
  • Must have an understanding of British Standards and regulations
  • FIA’s & BAFE desirable, not essential
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Experience of PAT Testing
